Over 186 tribals including 32 women, who were detained yesterday along with Ms. Patkar and her two colleagues, were sent to Navapura and Khandbara jails, sources said.

Hundreds of affected people from Maharashtra villages had been on an indefinite dharna for their various demands from March 27 in front of the Nandurbar collectorate.

Ms. Patkar and her two colleagues began an indefinite fast there from March 30. Meanwhile, police in Nasik said the situation in Nandurbar, after detention of the NBA leader and others, was ``normal'' and ``peaceful.''
