Many of you have given your contribution and support to Jeevanshalas from time to time. We would like to invite you for one of the important annual function of jeevanshalas! For the last 10 years, the students and teachers of the Jeevanshalas have been celebrating their Annual Children^Òs Festival, known as Bal Mela. This event is traditionally celebrated to bring together children of different schools and different tribes in order for them to get to know each other, and to facilitate cultural exchange between children all affected by the same problem of submergence. The schools foster ideas of participation and community building.
This year's BAL MELA is being organized on 18, 19, 20th February in Trishul Village (Nandurbar district, Maharashtra). Students of 12 jeevanshalas along with teachers and villagers will come together. Along with sporting events of students, the event will also be a gathering of all supporters. We welcome you!
