(Translated from original Hindi Notice that appeared in Hindi Daily Amar Ujala in Dehra Doon & Tehri Garhwal on November 20, 2001) NOTICE Everyone is herby informed that as a result of construction of Tehri dam, the Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited would be closing Tunnels T-3 and T-4 in the last week of November 2001. As a result of closing of above mentioned tunnels, the lower areas of old Tehri town upto RL 640 m would be submerged. As a result, situation of danger to the people and property would be created. Hence, all citizens of old Tehri town are requested that they go away from old Tehri town and make arrangements for resettlement at the resettlement sites allotted to them.
